The (in)compliance with the principle of the best interests of the children in brazilian social security law

Abstract
This article aims to identify possible violations of the principle of the best interests of children and adolescents in social security legislation and INSS regulations. The method used was the bibliographic research, and the results found corroborate the idea that the social security legislation and INSS regulations are progressively distancing themselves from the necessary support for children and adolescents, which provides a situation of social and financial vulnerability harmful to dependent minors of insured persons of the general social security system.
