Abstract
The present work aims to discuss the survivor’s pension benefit and the changes brought about by the calculation system, which was introduced by Constitutional Amendment 103/2019, causing a great social setback. An analysis of the survivor’s pension benefit is made, using the bibliographical research method. We discuss the changes brought about by the new calculation methodology introduced by Constitutional Amendment 103/2019, and the problems generated by the legislative novation.
