Governo Bolsonaro e estado democrático de direito a mitigação das políticas públicas na efetivação de direitos sociais
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Magna Carta of Brazil was conceived from the evolution of an abstentionist State to a Democratic State of Law that aims at material equality and guaranteeing the realization of social rights. In this context, in view of the ruling Constitution in force in Brazil, whose programmatic norms implement the search for the realization of social rights, the neoliberal president Jair Messias Bolsonaro was elected. Therefore, this article aims to analyze Bolsonaro's government plan regarding social rights and discuss the actual realization of these rights through the implementation of public policies aimed at health, education and public security in the period 2018-2022. The methodology chosen consists of bibliographic research from scientific productions published in articles and books, as well as newspapers and magazines on the subject. His first twenty-six months of government reveal the significant dismantling of the few rights won by the Brazilian working class. In times of a Covid-19 pandemic, the contradictions of the policy of denial of rights are evident.
