Abstract
The General Social Security Regime recently went through changes with the Constitutional Amendment number 103 of 2019 changing quantitatively, for example, the minimum age for retirement.
The present study talks about the General Social Security Regime after Constitucional Amendment number 103 of 2019, starting from the context that is found in the state structure, which is the Social Security.
During this study, two sources were consulted, it are the Constitutional of the Federative Republic of Brazil of 1988 and the institutional address of the National Institute of the Social Security.
It was posible to observe that the General Social Security Regime is not restricted to retirement, but also to other insurance, for example, family allowance and pension allowance. That there are different types of retirement, variable according to the characterists of each individual. And that the retirement can be considered as a insurance.
