The Brazilian Journal of Social Law, which is published every four months, has as its object of interest to disseminate scientific and doctrinal productions dedicated to discussing the following thematic axes: i) the theoretical aspects pertaining to social rights; ii) the duality between limitation and expansion of social rights; iii) the content and form of exercising social rights, such as education, health, food, work, housing, transportation, leisure, security, social security, maternity and childhood protection, assistance to the helpless.

Thus, the articles and research propositions for the Journal must address at least one of the thematic areas of its Editorial Line. It is also emphasized that the Journal may, following the decision of the Editorial Board, publish a number dedicated to only one of the axes or to a specific clipping, whose call will be widely disclosed.

Thus, the Journal seeks to contribute to the selection, evaluation and dissemination of research that seeks to reflect on the challenges surrounding the realization of social rights, excelling in research that is related to the subjects mentioned, especially in the area of Law.

Peer Review Process

The Brazilian Journal of Social Rights aims to publish scientific articles by researchers and authors from educational or research institutions, both national and foreign. Contributions must be unpublished and its simple receipt does not imply publication, and must be approved in accordance with editorial standards. The articles will be appreciated by, at least, two expert reviewers on the submitted themes and sent without identification of authorship. Also, it should be noted that the article can be approved, approved with indication of revision or mandatory modifications and corrections or rejected. The Journal's Summary will obey the alphabetical order of the authors' surname. The authors' opinions contained in the submitted and published articles are their sole responsibility.

All submissions are assessed with the editorial decision consequently sent by e-mail to the main author. In view of the correction requests, the author will have five working days to proceed with the corrections and send the corrected version of the article, which will be appreciated again.

 

Open Access Policy

The Brazilian Journal of Social Rights offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater worldwide democratization of knowledge. The Journal does not charge any type of fee from the authors, any type of fee or financial contribution for the publication of articles, reviews or any other published text.
